Monica holds a Master's degree in Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington state, with nearly 18 years of experience in mental health, substance use disorder, and career counseling services, in a variety of settings, including non-profit, government, and private sectors.
With a comprehensive educational framework, coupled with an extensive professional background in direct services and leadership roles, and with a diverse cultural background, of mixed, Romanian and Hungarian heritage, Monica is an experienced professional, who is compassionate and competent in her field.
She has a keen understanding of the unique circumstances faced by individuals, families, and youth who navigate the complex psycho-social dynamics of the every day life. Monica is passionate about youth development, family and generational impact on mental health, overcoming trauma, and resilience in youth and adults.
